Eishan Ensemble

From WOMAD to the London Jazz Festival and Rome Jazz Festival, to the Sydney Opera House, Eishan Ensemble has built a distinctive international presence. Led by Persian-Australian tar player and producer Hamed Sadeghi, with Michael Avgenicos (saxophone), Adem Yilmaz (percussion), and Maximillian Alduca (double bass), the ensemble draws the tar into conversation with saxophone, bass, and percussion, creating a refined sound that carries its origins without naming them. With extensive touring across Australia, Europe, and Asia, the group is expanding its European presence ahead of a Sept/Oct 2026 tour.
